On February 14, it was a bittersweet victory for our little horse with a big heart on Valentine’s Day. Sent off as the chalk in a ten horse field, Tar Beach won going away. He rated well just behind the pace and drew off in the stretch to score by 3 ¾ lengths. Unfortunately, the horse was claimed away from us. Tar Beach was our first winner at Saratoga, and we wish him nothing but safe trips in the future.
