Rock America Goes Wire-to-Wire

On December 17, Rock America wired a full field of nine horses at the “Big A” in his first start on the dirt. Our boy broke alertly under jockey Eurico Da Silva, who took him right to the front and rated him perfectly while saving ground. The favorite stalked us down the backstretch and into the top of the lane, but Rock America was able to shake him off and went on to score by a confident length.
