This latest edition to the Chalk family was at the 2017 September Keeneland sale. He is from Paynter’s second crop. Paynter— who who is from Awesome Again – Tizso, by Cee’s Tizzy— won over a $1,000,000 in just 11 starts, winning the Grade I Haskell Invitational and finishing second in the Grade III Derby Trial, the Grade II San Diego Handicap, the Grade I Belmont and (fittingly) the Grade I Awesome Again Stakes. His grandsire, Awesome Again, won over $4 million in purses, winning 9 of 12 starts. Cee’s Tizzy has produced several winners.
